My Lips Are Sealed

I can't write about what I'm really thinking...even though everyone else is thinking about it, too. That's a really big gun to jump.

Today, my opinion stands that weddings are freaking ridiculous.

And I'm tempted by this--even though my mom would kill me.

Why is it so important???

It's not about your wedding day, it's about the rest of your life. What IS important is your choice of groom, the love between you, the look in his eyes when he says his vows, the way you feel the first time you're announced as "Mrs.", that you fully LIVE those few moments of commitment, and last but not least, the flavor of cake you choose. ;)

Whether these important things take place at a huge wedding, alone on a beach, or in a drive-thru wedding chapel, at the end of the day you will still be his wife.

You're totally right. Can't we just have that bit without all the ridiculous hoopla!?!

Honey, this would be your day. You can have whatever you want and just ignore everyone else's input (or should I say butt-input?) Like Tiff said, at the end of the day you will be Misses. For all the rest, for this one day, just make Heather happy! xxxooo
